  Love this lens!
  I love this lens for what it is! You need to think of it as a 'vintage lens' and not a modern marvel. If you're looking for perfection this is NOT your lens, but then again the price point should make that absolutey clear. This lens definitely has a quality of it's own, it's very decent overall but the extreme corners are a disaster and I find wide open mine ghosts/very low contrasts badly if there is a bright lightsource in front of it.It's small, light and I find it very easy to focus manually with focus peaking and magnification. B&W conversions are really nice with this lens. I used it exclusively for a vacation and am happy with my photo's with it, warts and all. I gave it 3 stars for picture quality because yeah, this lens has some flaws. But when you learn to work with it the results are surprisingly good.A fun lens t o have in your collection.

  The lens has been in use for some time now, in the hands of a junior photographer (who has been taking pictures since she was not quite 2 years old), and the results are excellent. Manual focusing is not a deterrent, it's a challenge in fast picture taking of people in action. Color rendition is superb, it's an inspiring little workhorse of a lens for a very able student of the craft. Get it and have fun with it!

  Really good quality
  For what it is and for the price, this is amazing. I've shot some really professional looking stuff with my a6300. Great if you know how to use a prime and know how to use ur dslr.

  Easy Bang F or Your Buck!
  This 25mm lens is a must have for Sony APSC shooters. It gives you close to a 35mm full frame look.As tiny as it is, it's build quality is excellent showing prolonged durability. It does have a distinct "vintage" slightly soft look which is excellent for cinematic videos.Being a manual lens, it forces you to compose your image properly. The Lens ring is smooth to turn when pulling focus. I'll be picking up another one for my A6500, this lens rocks!

  Entry level Prime Lens
  I bought this lens few months ago.Very good lens to start practice with manuals on digital bodies.It is lightweight lens, and can follow you anywhere you go.I mostly using it for my hiking trips.

  Great little lens
  Great little lens. Very sharp in the centre...corners are somewhat soft, but n ot a big issue on a $110 lens. Good construction, contrast and colour. I won't hesitate to use this professionally for both stills and video. My second 7Artisans lens,,,both of them rock for the money.

  Great affordable manual lens
  I like this lens. I have the kit lens and this. This one is more fun and take good photos ... however because it's manual you have to be aware that you'll need to move to get shots since it's a fixed focal length. If I need zoom and autofocus i use the kit lens. I would recommend this lens.

  Excellent Lens for the price!
  I was really surprised how sharp this lens is for the price!It has a nice bokeh, and is a pretty fast lens and should work well in lower light conditions.Highly recommended!
