  Finally a lens that sees the world as I do
  I love this lens!It hasn't come off my camera since day one and I've been shooting everything with it: landscape, macro, stock, chickens, and even food. It's brilliant in low light and has a lovely, crisp image with variable depth of field. It's so tiny and lightweight, I can take my camera out in a shop without anyone calling security.A few things that take getting used to. The auto-focus is a bit slow and it's a lot louder than my kit lens. The vibration is a bit grinding on my hands as it hunts for focus, so I need to find the button that takes it off continual focus and only does it when I half-press the shutter. I find I get the sharpest image if I auto-focus then manual focus to perfection.The other thing I have trouble with is the lack of image stabilization. I thought I was doing really well with my kit lens, being able to get sharp images up to 1/4 of a second, but no. It was the IS. With this lens, I have to be careful at anything less than 1/60th and even then, it's still better if I can use a tripod.Most of these issues are user-problems, so I won't dock the lens any stars. And even still, if I could only ever have one lens, this would be it.

  Awesome fast prime lens!
  This is a wonderful fast prime lens that is incredibly small and lightweight! It's built really well with quality materials and mounts firmly to my Canon body. The metal focus ring is very smooth but sadly there is no manual Aperture ring. The focal length is perfect for my applications and the F2 takes in gobs of light. Very impressed with the sharpness and optics in general!

  Un objectif lumineux mais un peu trop cher.
  L'objectif est vraiment bon très lumineux. Le bokeh est superbe. et la netteté est splendide. Le seule problème est sont prix. La série M n'a pas d'objectif phare comme le 50mm f/1.8. Ce petit objectif pourrait être la vedette de la série M.

  Great lens for mirrorless
  Buy this lens for my Canon M6. The auto focus speed is fast. Image quality is very impressive in sharpness and colour. Manual focus ring feel a little small.

  Acts like a 35mm on a Canon M50
  I thought I made a mistake buying this lens, but in the end it actually acts like a 35mm Due to the 1.6 crop of the Canon M50.Let's in good light, lightweight, and fun to have a pancake lens.

  Great pancake lense. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and the photos I can take. On my next trip, it may be the only lense I will bring with me.

  Blazing fast shipping for a great product 😀
  Arrived faster than expected and the lens is incredibly sharp! Definitely slow on the auto focus, but that's alright since I plan on using this lens on manual for astrophotography anyways ☺️

  Compact quiet and fast!
  This lens works great as a 35mm equivalent prime on my fiancees EOS M3, great focal length for general photo/video purposes. The maximum aperture of f2 gives good low light performance and decent bokeh for a wider lens. The autofocus is also quiet which is nice.
